Paűle Marcaille artistically set her passion for flowers.

Paűle Marcaille came back to painting about ten years ago, and her great happiness at work is showing in every one of her canvases, through the flowers lightening them up.

Magnificent peonies, unique hydrangeas, deep sunflowers depict a strength of beauty, a sense to life which is respected and a presence one can’t get away from.

An impressionist, she paints what she likes, sincerely and lovingly.

She loves what she does, and one can see it on each of her fresh, cheerful and bright works.

Her great dream would be to go to China, a country where peonies are worshipped, or to the States, for other memories.

The artist is showing her works.

The artist from Quiberville crossed the river Seine to come and display her works at the Chenil art gallery, at Mr and Mrs Stacul’s. A nature lover, Paűle Marcaille is showing 35 magnificent oil paintings.

Actually, bunches of flowers are particularly predominant in this colourful exhibition.

With her wonderful artistic sense, the artist goes from a uniform blue to a selection of colours, without fading the brightness of her works.

As she is fond of travelling, Paűle Marcaille there finds the inspiration to draw and paint.

Then comes the meticulous pictorial brushwork which gives brightness to her paintings through the mixing of colours.

Paűle Marcaille has exhibited her works in Rouen, Le Havre, Toulouse, Vannes, but also in Germany and Switzerland.

An internationally famous artist.

From her earliest childhood, Paűle Marcaille loves teasing the brush.

After an accident, painting quickly became her whole life.

I paint from morning till night, everywhere, and my representations reflect my sensitivity, my emotion, my feelings of delight and cheerfulness”.

An unusual course for this self-taught resident of Thiberville who has had many exhibitions to her name, in France as well as abroad: Art galleries in Honfleur “Vieux Port”, the Casino in Trouville, golf courses from Deauville to Saint Gratien, or Belsola in Switzerland and Rheinfeld Community Art Centre, in Germany.

That Sunday, the third of July, the visitors at Saint Pierre festival were able to discover a spontaneous fresh painting full of attractive colours.

” When I start a work, I have no leading thread: creation evolves within the course of my imagination ”.

Magnificent bunches of flowers with fragrances you can almost smell, the delightful shades of the sunflowers, or the deep blue of the Hydrangeas: you will get an opportunity to appreciate all these paintings when going to Bourneville's Tourist office before Sunday, the seventeenth of July.

Paűle Marcaille has been warmly welcome by the Tourist Office and its committee President, Yvon Baudoin.

Paűle Marcaille is an expert with the knife. With oil painting knife.

At the present time, her shimmering flowers with lovely sheen are being exhibited at Lisieux’s Tourist Office.

I have always painted, since I was a child. I started with knife and oil and have always remained faithful to them,” exclaims the artist, who lives in Thiberville.

Even if she is exhibiting at the Tourist Office for the first time, she has nothing of a beginner. As in Vannes, Brittany, in Germany or in Switzerland, Paűle has been moving from exhibitions of different artists to individual exhibitions.

I usually paint during exhibitions. I love painting outside, and visitors enjoy seeing the painting being created before their eyes”.

Her favourite field is definitely flowers. After painting the see and landscapes where she has living in Fécamp, the artist let herself be tempted by the sweetness of flowers.
